Norwaymaple, you must understand what the word compromise means. What compromise does not mean is a Republican only bill that they put forward. The bill in June that Mr. Walz did vote for was a compromise bill, some from one side some from the other. If you look, this latest bill actually got bipartisan NO support. Dems and Repubs voted against it, but only Repubs voted for it. Compromise doesn't mean, vote for whatever the other guy tells you to vote for, it's a give and take.

If Tim Walz is about compromise, then why did he vote against the farm bill? Nothing about the bill prevents the passage of a separate bill to deal with the separate issue of food stamps.
