Obviously he cares more for the food stamp program than the farmers. It was a simple decision, which side of the fence do you stand on. Oh, I love how he claims to be bi-partisan and the Reps aren't when the Dems voted 100% party lines. Just more grandstanding, using "farmers" and "children" this time with farmers taking a seat in the back. Again, at least we know now Mr. W, thanks for clarifying.

True politicians with their constituents in mind would have had out-state reps voting for the bill and metro reps voting against it, no matter what your party affiliation was. At the end, isn't that what it's all about-your constituents. I bet that's where they came up with "House of Representatives".
