TO: New Ulm Planning Commission Why do you keep allowing these developers to screw the younger people of New Ulm?! I have no argument against building apartments in New Ulm. I do have objections to age limitations when such places are built. New Ulm has a housing shortage, Younger people need a good place to live and somewhere to establish themselves besides a rundown house or subsidized housing. Opp but what am I thinking - how could a young person afford such a place when the New Ulm City Council doesn't allow any significant corporate growth inside the city limits!?

Oh look, another apartment for the elderly. We've got a few of those in town, don't we? NUinReaView is right. Young people don't want to stay in this town because there is not job opportunities here, and even if there was, there's no place to live. Why should anyone want to stay in this town? It will wither and die on the vine if it does not grow.

Young people leave New Ulm because the employers here don't pay enough. I drive out of town to make more money. Lits of people do.
