notogop-You have posted this exact comment multiple times over the past two years from Eagle softball articles and no one ever responds to you. Get the hint! I agree the Hounds are almost yearly qualifiers for the tourney and the Eagles the past two season and probably more to come. But why take a shot at another sport? Real classy. Congrats Eagles and Hounds on great seasons!

Essentially, softball is just another version of baseball. When people say that New Ulm is a baseball town, I guess I take that to include softball.

Let's stick to the fact that New Ulm should be very proud of many softball players and coaches once again this June. It's not a competition with other sports...they get their due. Right now, it was a wonderful State Softball tourney experience for players/coaches and MANY fans alike. Way to go!
