It's not that the Chinese attacks are particularly brilliant and cunning, it's the our security is lacking. All we would have to do is spend a bit of money, and things will be great. China really has no reason to cripple our infrastructure in order to prepare for an attack. Who will buy their products? They are mostly interested in learning about our technology. The US did the same thing to England when the Industrial Revolution started. The Chinese are now doing it to us in the Information Revolution.

Maybe instead of farm subsidies -congress could add some money to the security system to stop the cyber attacks.
