Right on Jess or Jess' husband! I am not totally sure, but I think NU67 is a frequent author of negativity towards NUHS sponsored activities. Rip on elected officials, rip on professional athletes, etc., but to express your negative views towards a HIGH SCHOOL athletic program in blog such as this is low. "Lets see what happens this weekend" Who cares!! Of course they want to win and move on, but if they don't?? Are the kids going to have there birthdays taken away if they lose? Are the coaches going have to issue a letter of apology to Jim Senske? Come NU67, put things in perspective. Have cold Grain Belt and enjoy the upcoming weekend instead of thinking what you can say if the Eagles lose this weekend.

Come on NU67, its high school sports. Nothing more, nothing less. I think people that take shots at high school programs, athletes, and coaches should take a drink of "get a grip". Try it, they sell at "look in the mirror dot com" Its people like you and your negative views why AD's are having to call people to coach as no one wants deal with all the crap. Bash the Twins, bash the Wild, bash the Vikes, but leave high school athletes, programs, and coaches alone. Who cares if they lose this weekend. As a parent I care more about my kids GPA then ERA. If my son where playing for the Eagles this weekend and they lost, yes, it would sting a little, but the sun will come out the next day and at least we don't live in Moore, OK.

Did my research on this. According to a pre-season article in early April by Red, the past seven seasons, the Eagles have gone 123-41, and made the section finals five straight years...program is going south NU67??. Dropped down a class NU67?? Are they not playing in the class with schools there same size as assigned by the MSHSL? I have super respect for Coach Senske as I played for him in the mid 80's. However half the schools in the conference didn't even have summer ball programs for many years. Plus NUHS was double and almost triple the size of every school in the conference with the exception of Waseca at that time. Now NU, Fairmont, Waseca, and St. Peter are very close in enrollment. At one point this season, I saw that four teams in the SCC were ranked. My wife (Jessica) and I are graduates of NUHS. Our kids attend MVL, but we are huge high school sports fans and follow all three high schools. Keep up the good work coaches and athletes of CHS, MVL and NUHS.

How many times have they WON the section title after being dropped down a class. You can't in all honesty say that the program has progressed. They have regressed.
