I would beg to differ that "Current law requires that such "compensatory time off" be used within the pay period. That severely restricts the value of the benefit for workers." I work for a company that only compensates with additional vacation time or CPA as my company calls it and there is no requirement to take it within any set time limits. I am not a Federal or State Government so unless my company is braking Federal Law (which I doubt) that statement is incorrect.
