The best part about this article is the citizen referenced about their water bill is on the City Council. What does that show you as to his best interest in the City Finances! You are supposed to show an example for the city. Pay your water bills people. Skip the Cable, Skip the Cell phone and internet bills. Pay the bills that matter for your personal well being. Get a clue people! Why should the rest of the citizens of Gibbon cover for you? The letter stated that you can set up a payment plan. How hard is that? Go up there and work with the city office to get it taken care of.

I'm missing something: --you are getting water and garbage service. --you get a bill in the mail every month for the past 5 years --you're not paid the your bill for 5 years? --you get a letter from the city requesting payment or to set up a payment plan? --your husband is on the city council and hasn't questioned the bills? What an insult to all the citizens of Gibbon... I would expect an apology or resignation at the Council meeting on Monday

I have lived in Gibbon all of my life and never would have thought we would have $100,000.00 in free loaders in a town of just 700. As for Mr. Gurska. I second the resignation on Monday's meeting. I would not have wasted the lead of the pencil to vote for him last November. It seems every year he is also listed in the Gaylord Hub for not paying his property taxes. Just the guy we don't need trying to benefit our community.
