I'd much rather have a cell tower disguised as a tree of flag pole than an old aging water tower in my neighborhood. Placing a tower on a college campus would have no impact on the value of homes. The campus is already there and it's impact has long been felt with local property values. One tower would not change it one bit. Verizon did take the high road on this though.

How about a positive: let them put up the tower, if property values do go down (which they won't), you pay less in property taxes!

In 2013 many people want to drop landline in their home but cannot because of unreliable cell reception. An attenna will increase property values in the area because now people selling their home have an advantage for those that do not want a landline.

It seems Tom Berg is against anything...****petition against his business and now cell phone towers. Progress must be a scary thing to some people
