BTW, Walmart THREATENED to build outside of city limits if the city kept them out. Unfortunately, there was no stopping Walmart, so they did in fact build within the city limits.

Too bad the city of New Ulm tried so hard to keep Walmart out....now Menard's is there too...think of all of the city taxes they could be collecting with all of those consumer's... no wonder some people prefer to shop Walmart vs Target for hard goods, less tax. Those city leaders really messed up big time. I wonder who will be the next big box store out there?
