Chimney fire at Turner Hall

Good thing they got the fire out too, considering the hall didn't call for the fire dept to help. They called for the Fire Chief to come look at a possible fire in the chimney. The Chief got there and called for his truck to respond. We have a fire dept. When there is a possible fire, call for the dept right away, let them do their job. If the fire would have spread into the building, the dept members would have been in a more dangerous situation due to the Hall personal requesting to not have the Dept paged. This was an unneccessary "close call".
