Are there any statistics that show how often the k9 is used? If they help another agency, ie the Sheriff's Office, aren't they billed for that? If not, should they be? I'm guessing with your current County Commissioners, monetary assistance from the Sheriff's Office is out of the question. They give themselves raises, and yet cut county services...

I'm not talking monitory support. I am wondering if New Ulm taxpayers pay the same portion of the Sheriff's budget compared to rural taxpayers. If so, (and I don't know if they do, that is what I am asking) then they should be entitled to the services of the department.
