Stray pet owners irresponsible
To the editor: I couldn’t help but respond to the letter from Veleda Cordes. I can’t imaging I am the only one that is upset. Pet owners who let their animals roam the neighborhood are not responsible. I love animals, but since I don’t have pets I do not appreciate ANY of them making deposits in my yard, digging up my flowerbeds or killing the birds that I feed. And no - it is NOT good fertilizer. I have grandkids and shouldn’t have to clean my yard before they go out to play. If you wish to keep your housecat outside, keep it fenced in, leashed, contained to your property! If I see a cat running around I will assume it is an unneutered, unsprayed stray. Here in New Ulm we have rules of respect that include both dogs and cats (not to mention irresponsible neighbors).

Anti-cat ordinance
To the editor:
Attention pet owners;

Border policy puzzling
To the editor:
There are some things I don’t understand when it comes to border crossings:
If you cross the border in North Korea, Iran, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, China, Venezuela or Cuba, chances are you will get years in...
Bloodshed of the innocent
To the editor:
We listened to the tribute to our veterans on Nov. 11th on KNUJ. Our thoughts also went to our brave soldiers in the military serving our country in our two present wars.
