Fiesta of Guayaquil

WAHOOO!!!! So, Friday I didn´t have classes because October 9th is the independence day of Guayaquil. Therefore, my whole family went to Guayaquil and watched the parades of all the military.aturday I watched the soccer game, Ecuador vs. Uraguay in the movie theater, where unfortunently Ecuador lost. Here´s what happened...the first half no one scored and then about half way through the second half Ecuador scored, but then Uruaguay scored two seconds later. Next, the goalie for Ecuador was trying to stop the ball, however he somehow violated a rule so Uraguay got a goal kick. Then there was a grand total of about 20 seconds left in the game:( That night I went to the municipal park which is at the very top of this cluster of old houses that the government reconstructed and painted each house a different solid color. It was so cute!
