hybrids better than the hybridsBrowsing stories about hybriids, I came upon a blog that referred to a story about a guy that tied three Ford Escape hybrid batteries together, put on a new regulator and got about double the gas mileage and twice the speed as the factory model. Funny Ford didn't figured this out, or don't they want to. Perhaps oil company lobbyists are involved. Hybrids are a great idea that have much more potential than they have shown so far. Still, it's amazing more major auto makers aren't making them yet...... what's the holdup?
