June 9, 2010 - Katherine Joyce
We left Machala early in the morning for Guayaquil to begin our last trip together as exchange students in Ecuador. We welcomed a couple new exchange students from Australia and Brazil and partied the whole week with those we met during the trip in Manabi. From the Rotary conference we went to Machala to see banana and shrimp farms. Then we officially started our mountain trip in Cuenca. Later we got went to Inca ruins called Ingapirca, a farm with llamas and off to the Quito, where we visited the middle of the world. Sunday morning we said our chaos and returned to our propio cities. Overall the trip created tons of memories especially during the many hours spent in buses and I learned quite a lot about Germany... oh and Ecuador too!!! (yes, I do realize my pictures are turned all sorts of ways...it was just that kind of trip)
