Women’s marchers not very ladylike

To the editor:

I guess we survived the liberal ladies day to complain about whatever their problems are now. As I was trying to figure out just why they were marching, yelling, etc. I thought, “This isn’t very lady-like.” God created male, then female, and I’m satisfied/happy being a woman. I have no problem with and won’t yell “harassment” if a gentleman opens a door for me, offers to help me with something or even offers a compliment.

I am glad for all the rights we have, but I feel women start going overboard and want to be more “macho,” then they lose people’s respect.

I read about some of the demands being made and see they apparently haven’t been informed on things. President Trump has been meeting with small business people, unions, companies, veterans, etc., including a group of women pertaining to their interests and concerns, both personal and business, which are right in line with “demands” being made by marchers (except for the part about murdering babies). This is being spearheaded by Ivanka Trump who is a strong woman, gracious wife, mother and business person, so she’s right on par with things the marching ladies are concerned about by apparently uninformed about. I would think they would embrace her. Just a little message here:

We are proceed through life on insufficient knowledge and should try a little modesty as we go along. We all can learn a little something new if we’re able to keep our mouths shut for a while and try listening at least a little. I feel a true, successful woman takes pride in her family first, then proceeds with ambitions she may have or “whatever,” but never get so engulfed in her own self-importance that she loses sight of the things that are really important in life. In this you should find your personal feeling of accomplishment, happiness and pride so you should not be in need of someone else’s approval or try so hard to get the acknowledgment of others. I wish you luck in finding what you’re searching for. I only ask, please don’t stomp down my rights while you are doing so. Thank you.
