March on Washington and respect

To the editor:

I sincerely hope that those who are going to Washington to participate in the “Woman’s March in Washington” and to protest the Election of Donald Trump in search of “respect” realize that the organizers of this march have a strictly pro-choice/abortion platform. They removed and disavowed the “New Wave Feminists” from being sponsors because they are pro-life and show “respect” for the life of the unborn. Apparently the organizers of this march want to represent all women, as long as they are pro-choice/abortion and support their limited points of view.

One of the Honorary Co-Chairs of the march is Angela Davis. For those of us old enough to remember, Angela Davis is a 1960’s radical and at the time, a leader in the Communist Party USA, and supporter of the Black Panthers. She also in known for purchasing a shotgun that was used to kill a judge and three other persons in California murder case. She was on America’s Most Wanted List and when caught was charged with “aggravated kidnapping and first degree murder.” Now there’s a person who’s shown a lot of “respect” for life, and our laws. She is just one example of the Left Wing Liberals heading up this march. The list goes on…

It’s important to keep in mind that Donald Trump was elected president based on his proposed policies, not his personality. President Trump’s platform and proposed policy’s are based on respect for our law enforcement officers, our mlitary and veterans, the rule of law, our sovereignty and borders, and respect for the life of the unborn. I believe there is a “positive message” in this platform/policy.

Also, keep in mind, President Obama showed no respect for Israel, but worked with Iran, a terrorist nation. Obama defended Black Lives Matter, but showed little respect for law enforcement officers. No respect for federal laws concerning illegal immigrants, and on healthcare Obama said, “You can keep your doctor, You can keep you plan, It will cost you less money for your premiums,” all untrue.

I would have no problem having President Trump apologizing for his thoughtless and crude comments, as long as Barack Obama stood next to him and apologized to our law enforcement officers, our military, our veterans, Israel, our unborn babies, and for his eight years of failures as our president.

I am sure that many of those attending this march do so with good intentions. However, I believe it is misguided in many ways at best, and inappropriately timed in a weekend where we should be supporting our “peaceful transfer of power” and celebrating our democracy and the laws of this republic that makes us the greatest country in the world.

May God bless President Trump, and may God bless the United States of America.
