Millard Fuller helped others to help themselves
To our readers
The Journal’s editorial on Feb. 6 regarding the death of Millard Fuller, founder of Habitat for Humanity, is in error. Mr. Fuller died in 2009, not 2019.
The editorial was based on an article posted on the Washington Post site reporting his death, which was in error.
The Journal was not wrong, however, in recognizing the tremendous contribution Mr. Fuller has made in the world through Habitat for Humanity. The fact that the organization is still thriving and doing good ten years after his death is a testament to his vision.
