A Blast for all
This weekend is Bavarian Blast, the city’s biggest annual festival. It is a showcase for New Ulm and an event that draws people from all over the state and the country.
The Bavarian Blast committee has been working all year to put a good festival together, with old favorite bands, new bands and different styles of music to meet changing needs. Other events and attractions make the festival fun for all.
For a lot of New Ulm people, however, the closest they get to the festival is watching the parade. There’s nothing wrong with that, of course, but the festival organizers would like to see more coming through the gates to enjoy the festival and support it financially.
Financial support is important, of course. Bavarian Blast, like any business, needs to earn enough to pay its bills and continue operation in the future.
We hope everyone will take some time this weekend to head through the gates at Bavarian Blast and enjoy the good music, good food and Gemütlichkeit.
