Patricia M. Seifert

NEW ULM — Patricia M. Seifert, age 89 of New Ulm died peacefully on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Sleepy Eye Care Center.

Visitation will be 11 AM to 1 PM Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – SOUTH chapel. A private burial will be in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Marlys (Richard) Moll; son Raymond V. Jr. (Janet) Seifert; grandchildren, Eric (Shari) Moll, Lois Moll, Jeremy (fiancé Jill) Seifert, Rachel (Frank) Forstner; great-grandchildren, James, Gabby, Griffin, Collin, Noelle, Amber, Henry and Emily; sisters, Phyllis Westman, Melania Meyer, Joyce (Gary) Berg and Beatrice (Tom) Koop; brothers Florian (Patty) Sellner, and many nieces and nephews: sister-in-laws, Sandy Sellner, Helen Sellner; brother-in-law Jim Stimpert

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Rita (Christ) Seifert, Mary Ann (Marlin) Rodewald, Mildred (Lyle) Baker, Leona (Vernon) Platz and Rosella Stimpert; brothers, Eddie C.(Bernice) Sellner and Raymond (Delores) Sellner, Paul Sellner and Larry Sellner, brother-in-laws; Delbert Westman, Delmar Meyer, and Jerome Treml.

Patricia Mathilda Sellner was born March 17, 1929 in Albin Township to Edward and Mathilda (Seidl) Sellner. She married Raymond H. Seifert the on June 10, 1947 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. After marriage they farmed in Milford Township till 1981. They moved into New Ulm in 2000. Patricia worked at the Garment Factory, Oswald Laundry, 3M, BF Goodrich, Pietrus, and

several other places while she farmed with Ray.

Patricia greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved getting together with her family. She enjoyed spending time vegetable and flower gardening and embroidering.

She will be missed by many.
