Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 24, at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in St. James. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in St. James.

Visitation will be one hour before services at the church Friday.

Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home in St. James.

Ellwood LeRoy Johnson was born November 1, 1930 in Madelia to Roy and Eda (Weymouth) Johnson.

Survivors include his wife Nettie of St. James, 3 sons; Steven Johnson of Currituck, NC, Scott Johnson of St. James, Randy Johnson of Mabel, eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
