NEW ULM — David Fleck, age 62, of New Ulm, died Saturday, July 21, 2018 as the result of a motorcycle accident.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to7 p.m. on Friday, July 27, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – NORTH Chapel in New Ulm. Private family burial will be in Fort Ridgely Cemetery, Ridgely Township.

David is survived by his sisters, Sue (John) Jacobs of New Ulm, Mary (Dave) Jenneke of Glencoe, and Maggi (Pat) Steffl of New Ulm; brothers, Greg (LuAnn) Fleck of Glencoe, Leo (Roxy) Fleck Jr. of New Ulm, and Bob (Pam) Fleck of Sleepy Eye; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Mark Fleck; and a sister in infancy.
David Leo Herman Fleck was born on October 21, 1955 in Sleepy Eye to Leo and Colleen (Lammers) Fleck Sr. He was a generous, caring man. David was always available with advice and help for family and friends, whether it was wanted or not. One of his greatest passions was the annual motorcycle ride, “The Ride to Remember,” to honor fallen loved ones.
In lieu of plants and flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor’s choice.
