Service will be held at the United Methodist Church, Madelia, on Wednesday, Jan. 17, at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Madelia with Military Rites by the Madelia Area Veterans Honor Guard.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, Jan. 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Sturm Funeral Home, Pilgrim Chapel and will continue on Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church.

Kurt Bernard Keech was born on Sept. 16, 1951 in Madeliato Bernard and Rosemary (Lang) Keech. Following high school, he served in the United States Army and returned to Madelia after his honorable discharge.

Kurt is survived by his wife, Florence Keech; daughters, Tracy Smith, Terri Holmgren, Bernie Epper, Kristy Lugo and Chauntay Keech; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandson; a sister, Linda Bock and brothers, Brad, Arden and Marvin Keech.
