Connie was born August 4, 1944 in New Ulm to Stanley Stroschein and Charlotte Tauer. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Ulm. Connie attended St. Mary’s Grade School and finished her education at New Ulm High School. Born and raised in Goosetown she also lived most of her adult life there until health issues forced her to move into a nursing facility several years ago. She spent most of her time at home but was employed briefly at Petris in Sleepy Eye, Sioux Valley Hospital and Randall’s in New Ulm. Connie was an outspoken, determined, strong-willed woman who was also a kind hearted and giving person with a great sense of humor and a love of life. She never gave up hope even when sometimes facing tremendous odds. Connie loved her family immensely and they loved her just as much. She will be greatly missed by all.
