NEW ULM — Carol Ann Henrich, 82, of New Ulm passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Pathstone  Living Center in Mankato after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.

Funeral service will be 11 AM Wednesday, January 18, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm with Pastor John Dolan officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in New Ulm.

Visitation will be 4 – 7 PM Tuesday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home NORTH CHAPEL in New Ulm and will continue for one hour prior to the time of service at church on Wednesday.

Carol is survived by her 4 children, Amy (Pastor Don) Scheuerlein of Thiensville, Wisconsin, Pastor Mark (Mollie) Henrich of Toronto, Canada, Ann (Bruce) Gutzke of Hudson, Wisconsin and Joel (Renee’) Henrich of Mankato; 15 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charles and Phyllis Henrich; cousins and many dear family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Rev. Warren Henrich; and her daughter-in-law, Lynne Henrich.

Carol was born December 19, 1934 to Carl and Norma (Haubrich) Greening in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She graduated from Racine Lutheran High School in 1952. On June 29, 1957 she was united in marriage to Warren J. Henrich. The union was blessed with 4 children. Carol was a faithful pastor’s wife and belonged to many church organizations.

Memorials are preferred to St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, MVL, MLC or to the donor’s choice.
