NEW ULM – Brian Rossing, 64, of New Ulm died Monday, October 17, 2016 at the New Ulm Medical Center in New Ulm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Friday, October 21, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with Monsignor John A. Richter celebrating the Mass. Burial will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery with full military honors being conducted by the Madelia American Legion Honor Guard.
Visitation will be 4 7 PM Thursday and 7:30 10:30 AM Friday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home SOUTH CHAPEL in New Ulm.

Brian is survived by his wife, Catherine Rossing of New Ulm; a daughter, Erin Tutunaru of New Ulm; sons, Todd Rossing and his fianc Sarah Griebel of Hanska, Lonnie Rossing of Burnsville, Jordan Rossing of New Ulm; sisters, Jill (Byron) Norell of Gaylord, Julie (Mark) Frankamp of Nicollet; and a brother, Brad (Beverly) Rossing of Nicollet.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Brian Todd Rossing was born February 5, 1952 in Watertown to Vernon and Ardis (Peterson) Rossing. He was a 1970 graduate of Nicollet High School. Brian served in the U.S. Army Reserve. He was united in marriage to Catherine Walsh on December 30, 1983 at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. Brian was employed as a truck driver for J&R Schugel, Sanborn Manufacturing, Deli Express, AAA Cooper, Minnesota Valley Forest Products and Kraft Foods Private Fleet.
Brian enjoyed camping, motorcycle rides, driving, breakfast runs and music.
He was a member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity and American Legion Post #19 in Madelia.
