New Ulm Police

• Received a report about two-vehicle crash without injuries in icy roads at 20th St. North and Broadway at 3:27 p.m.. A 2001 Peterbuilt tow truck driven by Erik T. Marquette, 33, Montrose, was stopped at a stop sign on 20th North and Broadway, facing east. A 2017 Chevy Silverado driven by Jody L. Kuelbs, 46, New Ulm, tried to stop behind the tow truck and slid into the rear end of it. There was minor to moderate front end damage to the Chevy and no damage to the tow truck.

• Received a report about a two-vehicle crash without injuries on snow and ice-covered roads at 1st South and Front Street at 6:50 a.m. Wednesday. A 2003 SUV driven by Joshua Kalk, 42, New Ulm, was eastbound on 1st South Street when he tried to brake for a stop sign and slid into the intersection and collided with a 2016 pickup driven by Theresa Mages, 42, New Ulm who was southbound on Front Street. Mages had the right of way at the uncontrolled intersection.

• Received a disturbance report at Woodstone Senior Living, 2020 Meyer Dr. at 11:57 p.m. Wednesday. A resident wanted to go outside during very cold, windy weather. Police arrived and convinced the resident to stay inside for the night.

• Received a theft report at Jensen Buick GMC Cadillac, 2525 S. Broadway at 9:14 a.m. Wednesday. Tires and rims valued at $2,500 were taken from one vehicle overnight.
