Redwood County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash without reported injuries at CSAH 10 and 220th St., south of Lucan at 12:26 p.m. Saturday. A 2018 Chevrolet Impala driven by Paige Netzke, 22, Lamberton, was southbound on CSAH 10, approaching 220th St, was unable to stop for a 2005 Dodge Ram pickup, driven by Wilbert Bauman, 84, Lucan, who was stopped at 220th St., backing onto CSAH 10 to travel north, blocking the southbound lane. Netzke swerved into a ditch, avoiding a crash. Damage was minor. The Dodge was not damaged.

State Patrol

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash without injury on snow and ice on State Highway 15 at County Road 3, Madelia Township, Watonwan County at 8:42 a.m. Saturday. A 2013 Dodge Caravan driven by Victoria M. McCauley, 55, San Tan Valley, Az. was southbound on Highway 15 when a 2006 Toyota Matrix driven by Lydia Diaz, 32, New Ulm, turned from CR 3 onto northbound Highway 15 and collided with the Dodge. Both drivers wore seat belts. An airbag deployed in the Dodge. Madelia Police and Fire Departments and the Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office assisted.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Received a property damage accident report at 724 3rd Ave. S.W. at 4:28 p.m. Sunday. A resident reported a vehicle left the road sometime around midnight Saturday and destroyed a patio tree valued at $900 to $1,000. The suspect was found and faces a leaving the scene of an accident charge.
