New Ulm Police
• Received a report of a one-vehicle crash without injuries at North Highland Avenue near Maplewood Avenue at 11:42 p.m. Tuesday. A 1992 Honda Civic driven by Miguel A. Martinez, 20, New Ulm, went out of control on ice and hit a median light pole. Damage was moderate but functional to the front passenger side of the car. Light pole damage was minor. Martinez wore a seat belt and reported no injury.
• Received a report of a two-vehicle crash without injuries on slippery, icy, packed snow at Center and Jefferson Streets. A 2005 Chevy SUV driven by Bridget Anna M. Whitney, 35, New Ulm was stopped on Center Street waiting for a vehicle to make a turn when she was rear-ended by a 2015 Dodge Journey driven by Delrose V. Stadick, 75, New Ulm. Vehicle damage was minor to both vehicles.
• Responded to an assault report involving 16 and 17-year-old girls at Riverbend Area Learning School, 1315 Broadway St. S. One girl reportedly pushed the other into a locker, causing her to have a headache. No damage was done. Nobody was arrested.
• Received a report of a two-vehicle crash without injuries at 3rd North and Payne Street on packed snow and ice. A 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Crystal Fleck, 34, New Ulm was southbound when it crash into a 2008 Ford Edge driven by Matthew Frederickson, 32, Hanska, in an uncontrolled intersection. Damage was minor to both vehicles.
