New Ulm Police
• Received a vandalism report at 927 Spring St. N. at 1:55 p.m. July 31. The owner of a Bobcat said a mechanic told him water was found in the motor oil and that the damage was not repairable. It is uncertain just when the vandalism took place. Damage was estimated at $2,800.
• Received a vandalism report to a building at the Graffiti Wall at 221 6th St. N. at 2:28 p.m. July 31. Two holes were found in doors and two lights were destroyed. Damage was estimated at $1,200.
Redwood County Sheriff’s Office
• Received a one-vehicle crash report at Noble Avenue and Crow Creek, three miles east of Redwood Falls, near U.S. Highway 71 at 4:39 p.m. July 31. A 2006 Dodge Stratus driven by Dylan Woodford, 17, Redwood Falls, owned by Ryan Rothmeier, went out of control on gravel, entered a ditch, before coming to a stop in the creek. Woodford and a juvenile passenger, wore seat belts and were not injured. The car was demolished.
