An accident resulting in an injury was reported at 3:46 p.m. Monday at Highway 14/Highway15 in Nicollet County. A 2007 Freightliner tractor driven by David Rico, 56, Cedar Falls, Iowa, and a 1999 Mack tractor truck driven by Joel Melvin Krumrey, 63, Renville, were going south on Highway 15. The freightliner stopped at the stop sign attempting to make a left turn onto Highway 14. The Mack rear-ended the Freightliner while it had stopped at the stop sign.
Rico was taken to the New Ulm Medical Center with a non-life-threatening injury.
The road was wet.
The Nicollet Sheriff’s Office Courtland Fire Department and Allina Ambulance assisted on scene.

• Received a two-vehicle crash report at 16th North Street and Cedar Drive at 4:51 p.m. June 10. A 2005 Toyota 4-Runner driven by an unknown driver was southbound when it collided with a concrete light pole. Damage was severe to the front end of the Toyota. The light pole was demolished.
• Received a scam/fraud report at 7:19 p.m. June 10 from a resident on the 1000 block of Garden St. N. A woman met a person on line and sent them items including cell phones, t-shirts and cologne worth about $1,800.
• Received an apprehension and detail order at 9:32 a.m. June 11 from Mankato for a man at New Ulm Medical Center. The man was booked at the Brown County Law Enforcement Center.
