New Ulm Police
• Received a two-vehicle crash report at North Highland and Oak Street at 1:40 p.m. Friday. A 2008 Buick Lucerne driven by Alice Christenson, 58, New Ulm, was northbound on Highland, approaching Oak Street that hit the right rear side of a 2001 Ford Escape driven by Amara Addy, 16, New Ulm, who was on Oak Street, coming from the high school parking lot, stopped a the stop sign prior to the crash. Addy had minor injuries. Both drivers wore seat belts. Damage was moderate to the front of the Buick and right rear door of the Ford.
• Received a two-vehicle crash report without reported injuries at 12th North Street and Jefferson Street at 3:07 p.m. May 29. A 2012 SUV driven by Stacey Williams, 43, New Ulm, was southbound on Jefferson Street, stopped for a stop sign at 12th North, continued south and hit the side of a 1995 pickup driven by Jonathon Mehlhop, 16, New Ulm. Williams said she did not see the pickup before crashing into it. Damage was moderate to the front end of the SUV and disabling to the driver’s side of the pickup. Both drivers wore seat belts.
