New Ulm Police
• Received a stolen vehicle report at 506 Center St. at 1:31 a.m. Jan. 21. Police stopped a 2004 Ford pickup at First Street South and State Street at 1:50 a.m. and arrested a 30-year-old New Ulm man who appeared to be intoxicated. The suspect was transported to a medical care facility for treatment. A report with charges of DWI and driving a stolen vehicle was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office for charge consideration.
Sleepy Eye Police
• Received a disturbance report at 224 Water St. S.E. at 5:42 a.m. Jan. 21. An intoxicated man was transported to the Brown County Evaluation Center detox facility. No other information was available.
Redwood County Sheriff
A burglary was reported at Milroy Public School at 10:18 a.m. Jan. 21.
Between 10 p.m. Jan. 18 and 10 a.m. Jan. 21, unknown suspects broke a window on the southwest side of the school and entered the building. The suspects then pryed open the doors on the school offices and stole approximately $40 in cash and several checks made out to the school for students’ milk money. No suspect info is known at this time.
