New Ulm Police
• Received a two-vehicle crash report without injuries at 17th South Street and Payne Street on snow-packed roads at 8:04 p.m. Jan. 17. A 2005 Buick Rendezvous driven by Melissa Johnson, 39, Winthrop, was southbound on Payne when she collided with a 2012 Kia Forte driven by Margaret Corcoran, 56, New Ulm. Damage was minor to the Buick and moderate to the Kia. Both drivers wore seat belts.
Redwood County Sheriff’s Office
• Reported the theft of 96 25 to 30-pound feeder pigs from a confinement barn during the late night/early morning hours of Jan. 16-17 at Fultz Farms, 10400 140th St., Springdale Township, rural Tracy. Estimated value of the pigs was $5,760.
Minnesota State Patrol
• Received a one-vehicle crash report on Highway 30, just east of Highway 15. A 2008 Chrysler Sebring driven by Abdilahi M. Obsiye, 23, St. Paul, was eastbound on Highway 30, lost control and slid into a guardrail. He was transported to Madelia Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He wore a seat belt. Lewisville Fire and Truman Ambulance assisted.
