New Ulm Police

• Investigated a two-vehicle crash without injuries at 20th South and Broadway at 1:21 p.m. Thursday. A 2014 Dodge Caravan driven by Linda Postel, 70, New Ulm was stopped for a flashing semaphore, facing north while a 2016 Chevy Equinox driven by Wilmar Tietz, 78, Madelia was stopped facing east. Both vehicles proceeded into the intersection and crashed. Damage was moderate to both vehicles. Both drivers wore seat belts.

• Investigated a three-vehicle crash at 5:19 Friday at 1st North Street and Broadway. Austin Lee Iles, 21, of 2412 N. Broadway, #201, driving a 2006 Ford Fusion, was stopped in traffic in front of Sarah Ann Budenski, 32, of 16552 140th Ave., New Ulm, in a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu. Taron Steven Freidrichs, 17, of Fairfax was southbound on Broadway, and struck the rear of Budenski’s car, causing it to strike Iles’ car.

Budenski sustained a possible injury to her neck. The vehicles suffered minor damage.

• Investigated a crash at 6:23 p.m. at 3rd North and MInnesota St. Connie Schroepfer, 53, of 207 N. Franklin, New Ulm, pulled out of the north exit of the Wells Fargo parking lot in an SUV and began travelling westbound on Third North. Jennifer Bents, 26, of 100 N. Garden St., New Ulm, was in the process of pulling out of a parking stall on Third North and started to enter Third North when the collision occurred.
