NEW ULM — Randy Horejsi (“Horsh”) said he’s been interested in signs and graphics since he was a small child. On top of that, he was born in a racing family.

“I used to build model cars and cut out the graphics by hand,” Horejsi said. “My dad Jim (of Redwood Falls) has been racing for a long time. I help him out when I can.”

Randy raced cars himself about 10 years ago.

Graduating from Redwood Valley High School in 2005, he worked as a welder at Warrior Manufacturing in Redwood Falls for a couple years before he decided to study printing at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay.

Moving to New Ulm in 2009, Randy started building his business as a part-time hobby in a spare bedroom. His wife Jessica (Wellman) works as a graphic artist in North Mankato.

At first, he created race car wraps. As the business expanded, he moved into wall, commercial, boat, snowmobile, custom design banners, decals, apparel and color change wraps; plus vehicle paint protection films and just about any kind of wrap you can imagine.

The business recently moved to 311 N. Minnesota St.

“We can wrap just about anything. Business has been great,” Randy said. “Vinyl wraps are our main focus, but we can do many things with graphics and wraps. I’ve even made wraps for brick walls, helmets, apparel, just about anything but a sponge.”

Commercial applications include vehicle fleets and equipment trailers.

Randy’s current projects include clear paint protection film he’s installing on a customized 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. His Xpel Ultimate paint protection film has a 10-year warranty and protects against rocks, bug acids, salt, oils, gravel, tree sap, bird droppings and magnesium chloride. The advanced clear coat is said to heal over time, eliminating swirl marks and other fine scratches.

He also offers hundreds of color and finish changes at a fraction of the cost of a paint job. If you grow tired of it, simply peel it off and make it a new color.
