Three Rs at New Ulm WELLness Collective
NEW ULM — The Three Rs are now providing services at The New Ulm WELLness Collective, 15 S. Minnesota St.
The Three Rs are reflexology, reiki and raindrop technique. Carol Abbas is providing the reflexology service; Jan Uhlenkamp is providing reiki, and Violet Plagge is working with the raindrop technique.
Reflexology has been a 20-year experience for Carol Abbas. It is the manipulation of the feet and hands to bring the body back into balance and relaxation, allowing the body to heal itself. There are points on the feet and hands that connect to every part of the body. Reflexology also improves circulation throughout the body. Carol may be reached at 507-947-3256 or email@example.com.
Reiki is an ancient Japanese practice which activates the natural healing energy of the body. It uses a non-invasive hands-on technique that provides support for healing and balance for the mind, body and emotions. Uhlenkamp is a third-degree reiki practitioner with over 15 years of experience. She may be reached at 507-354-9454, cell: 507-276-4225 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Raindrop technique Violet Plagge is a graduate of Minnesota State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Therapeutic Recreation and Minor in Corporate and Community Fitness. She has 25 years of experience teaching fitness classes, specializing in pilates and senior classes. In addition to teaching pilates at the WELLness Collective, she is offering the raindrop technique which combines the art of aromatherapy with the techniques of vita flex and massage in the application of essential oils to various areas of the body. Plagge has attended several raindrop technique classes and is hopeful of pursuing her certification from the Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education in the near future.
