Limited advance Dance Floor Seating, including the appetizers and desserts, is $25; Theater Seating that includes access to the dance floor is $10. Tickets can be purchased at the New Ulm Chamber of Commerce, New Ulm Hy-Vee, and online at statestreetNEWULM.org. Advance tickets for theater seating will also be available at the door the day of the dance for an additional $5. Dance floor seating is limited. For further information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 507-359-9990.
Proceeds from this night are designated for a new projector, movie screen, and fire protection system at State Street Theater Co. Construction on the theater addition to the then-high school commenced in 1938 as a Works Progress Administration (WPA) project, and, upon completion, opened its doors in 1939. Much of its infrastructure is 80 years old and in need of replacing. Separation of the utilities from the future Emerson-Union Apartments is underway, being paid for from funds raised in an ongoing capital campaign. Half of the proceeds raised from this fund-raiser will help in off-setting costs of a new fire protection system.
