Lions Club of New Ulm to host Dad’s Belgian Waffle Brunch

NEW ULM — The Lions Club of New Ulm will host a Dad’s Belgian Waffle Brunch at New Ulm’s Turner Hall, 102 South State St. on Sunday March 3.

Serving will be from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The menu will include “all you can eat” waffles, breakfast sausages, nine different flavored syrups and whipped cream. Coffee, milk and juice are included. Tickets are $8.50 at the door or $7.50 in advance. Children 5 years old and younger are free.

Advance tickets are available at the New Ulm Chamber of Commerce, Cash Wise Foods, Hy-Vee Foods, Sid’s Signs, any Lions member or call 354-8940.

New Ulm Gem & Mineral Society

NEW ULM — The New Ulm Gem & Mineral Society will meet Sunday, March 10 at 1 p.m. at the Morgan Public Library in the lower level meeting room (wheelchair accessible). Everyone is invited. For more information please call Diane Rose, 760-468-8028.

St. Gregory Bingo on March 10

LAFAYETTE — The St. Gregory the Great Church CCW will host a Grocery Bingo on March 10, 2019 at 1 p.m. at the St. Gregory Social Hall in Lafayette. Lunch will be available for purchase and all ages are welcome. Bring the family for a fun afternoon! Donations will be collected for the Food Shelf.

ECFE Gym Night Friday

NEW ULM — Have children who need to run off some extra energy? Join the ECFE Family Gym Night.

Family Gym Night provides an indoor space for kids to scooter, jump, play ball, use riding toys, and lots more. Join us at the Washington Learning Center from 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 1. This is a free family event.

St. Mary’s Sausage Dinner

SLEEPY EYE — St. Mary’s Catholic Church will hold its Men’s Sausage Dinner & Raffle on Sunday, March 3, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

The menu includes country-style sausage, old-fashioned sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, gravy, beverage, bread, applesauce and ice cream. Tickets are $12 for adults, $4 for children aged 6-12, and $1 for pre-schoolers. Adult takeout orders are available starting at 9:30 a.m.

There will also be a meat sale from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at the school garage, and Sunday at the dinner.
