‘Hunor for Heroes’ tour

coming to New Ulm

NEW ULM — The “Humor For Heroes” Tour, a Rat Pack style comedy tour that is doing a 30 dates in 30 days fundraiser across the entire state, is coming to New Ulm today.

The show will be held at the Seifert-Bianchi American Legion Post, 13 S. Minnesota St., New Ulm. Seating begins at 6 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10. All proceeds go to the “Lone Survivor Foundation.”

The show was the brainchild of Chris Shaw, a 30-year comedy veteran and real life military veteran who wanted to rally his comedy friends, including ‘Fancy’ Ray McCloney and John Bush, to find a way to tour the state and give back.

Most of the shows are either in American Legions, VFWs or other military based centers. This includes a stop at Camp Ripley.

The Minneapolis Kickoff event was at the Veteran’s hospital on Friday, October 13th, and is scheduled to conclude on Saturday, Nov. 11, Veterans Day, in Minneapolis.
