NEW ULM – Washington Learning Center will be holding it’s Early Childhood Kindergarten Entrance Conferences: on Wednesday, Sept. 7 and Thursday, Sept. 8 from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. and on Monday, Sept. 12 and Tuesday, Sept. 13, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Firearm training
NEW ULM – The Izaak Walton League will hold firearm safety training classes this fall.
Signup for classes will be held at the Izaak Walton building on the Brown County Fairgrounds on Tuesday, Sept. 6 and Wednesday, Sept. 7 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The cost of the classes is $15. Registrants will need to pay $7.50 at signup
Classes will be held Sept. 12, 14, 16 from 6-9 p.m. and and Saturday, Sept. 17 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

CAST Variety Show September 22
NEW ULM – Community and Seniors Together presents “Everything But the Kitchen Sink” Variety Show on Thursday, September 22 at 7 p.m. at the New Ulm Community Center, 600 N German, New Ulm.
Come for informal, intergenerational local acts by performers including Benny Seifert, Jan Keaveny, Oakwood Choir, Claus Sieh, Jenny Spurgin, Elizabeth Garcia, Tom & Deb Kaehler, Kay Simpson & crew, Craig Austinson, Gretchen Austinson & Meghan Moore, Sally Webster, LeAnn Ravenburg, Carolyn Todd, Betty Mecklenburg & Bruno plus several more.
The show is produced by Isla Hoffman. This event is free and open to the public. Donations to senior programming are appreciated. Everyone is welcome.

Patriotic Pancake breakfast in Morton
MORTON – The Renville County Historical Society will hold its 2nd annual Patriotic Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, September 10, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Heritage Building on Museum Grounds, 441 N. Park Drive, Morton.
Free will donations will be accepted.
Proceeds go to the Renville County Historical Society and Beyond the Yellow Ribbon of Renville County.
