Hoffmann, Boutjes win Clear Lake Ice Fishing Contest

NEW ULM — Todd Hoffmann and Lindsey Boutjes finished first in the Clear Lake Ice Fishing Contest Sunday.

Hoffmann caught a 1.92 pound bass to win the biggest fish division. Landyn Schmiesing was second with a 1.29 pound bass. Jon Mickelson was third with a 1.25 pound bass.

Boutjes caught a .47 pound crappie to win that division. Morgan Stoner was second with a .46 pound sunfish and Weston Knisley was third with a .42 pound crappie.

There were 54 fish registered in the contest hosted by the New Ulm Area Sportfishermen’s Club.
