Sons of Norway meeting to focus on Lindbergh
WINDOM — The Sons of Norway Stavanger Lodge will host their next monthly meeting on Thursday, July 19, at the Cottonwood County Historical Society Museum, 812 4th Ave, Windom. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
The program for the evening will be “Charles Lindbergh: Triumph, Tragedy and Controversy,” presented by David Jones, Historical Presentations.
Theprogram will delve into the life and times of Charles Lindbergh, exploring his experiences in flight, family tragedies and political controversy.
The public is invited to attend this event free of charge. Informational membership booklets will be available. Guests are always welcome at any Lodge meeting.
The mission of the Sons of Norway is to promote, preserve and cherish a lasting appreciation for the heritage and culture of Norway and other Nordic cultures while growing soundly as a fraternal benefit society and offering maximum benefits to its members. The local Stavanger Lodge was chartered in 1974 and currently has approximately 80 members.
