Panel OKs applications

NEW ULM — The Brown County Planning Commission approved three applications Tuesday.

The list included:

• A Conditional Use Permit Application by Mathiowetz Constructions Company on property owned by Justin & Carrie Roiger, Section 4, Stately Township to allow use of property for a gravel mining operation to include extraction, screening, and crushing all in the A-1 Agricultural Protection Zoning District.

• A Preliminary Plat Application by Lucas Amsden on property owned by Dennis Amsden known as Amsden Subdivision, Section 22, Burnstown Township. Parcels being platted are an existing building site (10.4 acres) being split into two parcels for residential building sites. Lot 1 is 7.62 acres, Lot 2 2.78 acres.

• A Final Plat Application for a single lot split by Marie Lang, known as Land’s 1st Subdivision, (five acres), Section 35, Burnstown Township. Parcel being platted is a woodlot being platted off from the existing parcel.

Planning Commission recommendations will be considered by Brown County Commissioners at 10 a.m., Sept. 19.
