Morton man sentenced to 15 years in federal prison
St. PAUL — A Morton man was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison in U.S. District Court March 2.
After an extensive investigation on the Lower Sioux Reservation by the Brown-Lyon-Redwood-Renville Drug Task Force, Jeffrey J. Pendleton was found to be in possession of a Glock handgun.
Based on his prior convictions, Pendleton was not legally able to possess firearms. He was found guilty of possessing the handgun in violation of the Armed Career Criminal Act, according to a Drug Task Force news release.
