Small Business Development Center to hold seminar in New Ulm on April 7

MANKATO – The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Minnesota State University is partnering with The Legal Professionals in New Ulm to present “Planning for Success: How to Manage your Business in a Changing World.”

This workshop will provide information to help with the operation and success of a business. Topics include changes in the law that may impact the business, ways to plan for retirement or death, and strategies to maintain liability protections.

Information will be presented about the Affordable Care Act, including an overview of the new statute, what it means for businesses and employees. The speakers will discuss types of coverage, possible penalties and required reports.

There is no cost to attend, and breakfast will be provided.
