REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING OF NEW ULM RECREATION CENTER
An RFP to select an Architectural and Engineering (A/E) firm is now available. A/E is to provide design and engineering services for multiple additions, remodels, and repairs to the existing Recreation Center located at 122 South Garden Street, New Ulm. These projects are anticipated to include additions of approximately: 9,000 SF indoor aquatics water park, 10,000 SF dedicated gymnastic facility, 600 SF indoor playground and 4,000 SF wellness fitness center. Additional minor remodels are anticipated to include: existing indoor swim pool repairs, spa relocation, locker room remodels, office relocations, and other projects. It is the intent of the City of New Ulm to proceed forward and contract with the selected architectural firm for design, planning, specifications, and engineering. This local sales tax funded total project cost including professional services is estimated at nine million dollars ($9,000,000.00). Project is estimated to be substantially complete by January 2020. REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) CONSTRUCTION MANAGER CITY OF NEW ULM RECREATION CENTER
An RFP to select a Construction Manager (CM) is now available. The CM is to provide services with the delivery method of Agency Construction Manager (CMa), for the approximate: addition of a 9,000 SF indoor aquatics water park next to the existing indoor swim pool facility, addition of a 10,000 SF dedicated gymnastic facility to the north of the existing fieldhouse, space conversion of a 600 SF indoor playground, and addition of a 4,000 SF wellness center (health and fitness space) to the existing Recreation Center at 122 South Garden Street. Other than these additions and remodels, minor remodels to existing spaces are planned to include existing indoor pool repairs, spa relocation, locker room remodels, office relocations, and possibly other projects as the design is developed. It is the intent of the City of New Ulm to proceed forward and contract with the selected construction manager for preconstruction (to include design and product consultation with the Architectural and Engineering services firm) and construction phase services based on the CMa delivery method. This local sales tax funded total project cost including professional services is estimated at nine million dollars ($9,000,000.00). Project is estimated to be substantially complete by January 2020. NOTICE AND ORDER OF HEARING ON PETITION FOR PROBATE OF WILL AND APPOINTMENT OF CO-PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS
It is Ordered and Notice is given that on November 26, 2018 at 9:00 AM., a hearing will be held in this Court at 14 S. State Street, New Ulm, Minnesota, for the formal probate of an instrument purporting to be the Will of the Decedent dated, December 22, 2010 (“Will”), and for the appointment of Patrick J. Mohr, whose address is 18396 125th Street, Hanska, MN, 56041, and John P. Mohr, whose address is 10454 160th St., Glencoe, MN 55336, as Co-Personal Representatives of the Estate of the Decedent in an UNSUPERVISED administration. Any objections to the petition must be filed with the Court prior to or raised at the hearing. If proper and if no objections are filed or raised, the Co-Personal Representatives will be appointed with full power to administer the Estate including the power to collect all assets, to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes and expenses, to sell real and personal property, and to do all necessary acts for the Estate.
Notice is also given that (subject to Minn. Stat. 524.3-801) all creditors having claims against the Estate are required to present the claims to the Personal Representative or to the Court Administrator within four months after the date of this Notice or the claims will be barred.
