NOTICE OF AND ORDER FOR HEARING ON PETITION FOR FORMAL PROBATE OF WILL AND APPOINTMENT OF PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS

It is Ordered and Notice is given that on December 12, 2016 at 2:30 at p.m., a hearing will be held in this Court at the Brown County Courthouse, 14 South State Street, New Ulm, Minnesota 56073-0248, for the formal probate of an instrument purporting to be the decedent’s Will dated April 13, 2016, and for the appointment of Patricia A. Stadick, whose address is 16508 170th Avenue, New Ulm, Minnesota 56073, as personal representative of the estate of the decedent in an unsupervised administration.

Any objections to the petition must be raised at the hearing or filed with the Court prior to the hearing. If the petition is proper and no objections are filed or raised, the personal representative will be appointed with the full power to administer the estate, including the power to collect all assets; pay all legal debts, claims, taxes, and expenses; sell real and personal property; and do all necessary acts for the estate.

Notice is also given that, subject to Minn. Stat. 524.3-801, all creditors having claims against the decedent’s estate are required to present the claims to the personal representative or to the Court within four (4) months after the date of this notice or the claims will be barred.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

WHEREAS, Home Grown Properties, LLC, has filed an application with the City of New Ulm requesting a variance to allow a building addition with 5′ side yard setbacks on the property legally described as Lot 10, Block 91 South of Center Street. The required setback is 10′. Street address of the property is 1417 South State Street; and

WHEREAS, the City Code requires that these matters be considered by the New Ulm Board of Zoning Adjustment.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, pursuant to the City Code, the New Ulm Board of Zoning Adjustment will meet at 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 1, 2016 in the City Hall Council Chambers, 100 North Broadway, New Ulm, Minnesota to consider these matters. The public and all interested parties are hereby officially notified of said hearings.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

WHEREAS, Kevin and Deborah Oliva have filed an application with the City of New Ulm requesting the amendment of a historic building Conditional Use Permit to allow a residence on the first floor of the building located at 526 South Minnesota Street. This property is legally described as the Front 87 feet of Lot 7, Block 71 South of Center Street and is the location of the old Tauschek Grocery Store building.

WHEREAS, the City Code requires that this matter be considered by the New Ulm Planning Commission.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, pursuant to the City Code, the New Ulm Planning Commission will meet at 4:30 P.M. on Thursday, December 1, 2016 in the City Hall Council Chambers, 100 North Broadway, New Ulm, Minnesota to consider this matter. The public and all interested parties are hereby notified of said hearing.
