• Esther Erica-Maris Poeppe, 24, 2201 N. Broadway, New Ulm, was convicted of gross misdemeanor domestic assault-subsequent violation Dec. 15. A felony domestic assault charge was dismissed. She was sentenced to 365 days in the Brown County Jail, 299 days stayed for two years Supervised probation, credited with 44 days served. She was fined $1,060. Can get credit for out-of-pocket expenses for domestic counseling, chemical dependency and mental health assessments and any recommendations. Conditions include no alcohol/controlled substance use unless prescribed by a physician. Take medications in prescribed dosage and frequency. Disclose possession and location of any weapons/firearms. Prohibited from possessing a firearm from three years from conviction date.
